Places of Visit Surkhunda Devi Temple : Surkhanda Devi Temple is the Highest point in the area located at a height of 3021 mt on the top of the hill. It is situated around 35 kms from Mussoorie and 11 kms from Dhanaulti. It is an important pilgrimage centre and is very famous around the locals and people residing in nearby cities. The temple offers extensive view of the snow ranges and exclusive experience one can never forget.

Lal Tibba : Lal Tibba (2438.4 m) is the highest point of Mussoorie. There is a high power binocular kept here which provides a close and magnificent view of snow covered Gangotri, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi and Sri Kanta peaks. A television tower, which is at Lal Tibba, has been relaying television programmes from Delhi since 12th August 1979. |

Chaar Dukaan : The four shops are actually famous here. You get a wide variety of home made snacks and cheese, not to forget even maggi noodles or a pan cake or waffles for that matter. This area is an elite area and people spend days just wandering around. Celebes like Sachin Tendulkar, Prannoy Roy, Ruskin Bond, Sanjay Narang, Tom Alter etc have their homes here. |

Lakha Mandal : Post Kempty Fall, Lakha Mandal is 75 Kms on the Mussoorie-Yamnotri Road . One can drive up to KUWA (about 71 Kms) and from there you can cross the river Yamuna by a motorable bridge. There are hundreds of idols of archeological importance which have been preserved by the Archeological Survey of India. Legend has it that the Kauravas made a Shellac house and conspired to burn the Pandavas alive here. |

Chamba (Tehri) : About 31 Kms from Dhanolti. The drive is excellent as the road passes through the fruit orchards. During the season, apples are available in abundance all along the route. |
