This is a great hotel, by far the nicest in Mussoorie. The rooms are spotless, the service excellent, the price very reasonable for what you get. The location is good, within easy walking distance of the center of town and good restaurants. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to follow up on a wonderful visit to your hotel with a “thank you” note. Your hotel, and notably your well-trained staff, exceeded my expectations and made for a delightful short stay in Mussoorie.
The facility was beautifully restored and maintained to perfection.I’ve stayed at many of the better hotels but your hotel was in par, and in several aspects superior, to those. I am looking forward to another stay at Hotel Silver Rock.
I’d like to close with a special thanks to several members of your staff that went beyond my expectations to ensure I had a pleasant stay.

I stayed here with my wife in Dec 2010. And the winter was excellent. We didnt have a pre-booked reservation and it was easy to locate it at the start of the mall road. We saw a couple more...nothing better than this. Good Service. Spacious rooms. Room Service is fast. Food is good. View is excellent. we had the Himalaya peak view. Enjoying the sunrise on the peak from the room is a treat.
They have excellent viewing galleries/terrace. Location is apt on the mall road just before the camel back road. Do take a local tour of the kempty falls and buddha temple. The buddha temple is splendidly located and charming. The walk on the mall road is something you will never get tired of. And for sure, dont miss the gun hill. Excellent view of the himalayan ranges and sunset and the subsequent dance of colors on the horizon. And the town is charming in every way. You got all kinds of restaurants with out of the world ambience! Dont miss Kalsang and Chic Chocolates. Camel back road is another treat one wouldnt want to miss. The doon valley, the quaint outstaion on mall road, the numerous viewing galleries, friendly locals, those benches on the road, artwork on the road are things that you really cant miss. All in all, an excellent tourist destination. we went during the winters, temp was too low, carry lot of woolen. Guess its the best time to travel. Coz in summer (peak season) it gets too crowded for comfort!

This hotel is nice in terms the rooms and the food it has. The decor and space offered in the rooms is good and comfortable. I ordered food twice from the hotel Menu and found the food to be excellent on both occasions. Another plus with this property is its location, located right at the start of the mall road means you can take a leisurely stroll anytime of the day.

It was the first time we stayed at this hotel though we had been to Mussoorie many times. It's location is it's USP. The hotel sits right at the beginning of the Mall and the Camel's back road. It also affords a nice view of the Himalayas from all the mountain facing rooms. The room itself was nicely appointed and comfortable, the window seat facing the Himalayas a lovely place to enjoy your morning cuppa.
Service was Good, people were polite and did look after our requirements.Food was nice, served in a modest but cheerful dining room. I think I shall go there next visit too.
